Netflix may soon distribute video podcasts. On its latest earnings call, co-CEO Ted Sarandos discussed the growing popularity of video podcasts and Netflix's interest in partnering with creators across various media, including video podcasts. He stated:

"We want to work with great creators across all kinds of media that consumers love, and podcasts, to your point, have become a lot more video-forward... As the popularity of video podcasts grows, I suspect you'll see some of them find their way to Netflix."

Why It Matters: With video podcasts booming on platforms like YouTube and Spotify, Netflix's potential move makes sense. Video podcasts are binge-friendly, likely cost-effective to license, and they resonate well with younger audiences.
