Threads expanded the rollout of Custom Feeds, allowing users to create custom feeds of topics and people they want to follow.

Meta has introduced a new hub featuring educational resources for Threads, which include best practices, data-backed tips, and content examples for creators. 

Threads is launching an Activity Status feature that allows users to see when others are online.

Threads has rolled out Custom Feeds for both desktop and mobile. Users can choose from hashtags, keywords, and profiles to create feeds, which they can also name. Once saved, the feed will appear in the Your Feeds section, alongside other feeds like Following, Liked, and Saved.

Flipboard has introduced the ability for users to follow anyone in the fediverse.

Meta has announced updates for the Threads desktop experience for creators and brands.

Threads has rolled out a blue label for posts related to recent trending topics in the US. This label will also display the number of related posts. Users can click on the label to view other related posts and sort them by "Top" or "Recent."

As Threads approaches its one-year anniversary (July 5th) and now has over 175 million users, Meta collaborated with Wakefield Research to delve into how users engage with the text-based app and social media overall.

Threads rolled out an updated desktop experience, allowing users to pin columns for different feeds such as For You, Following, Liked or Saved Posts, Activity, and other user profiles.

Threads is currently testing post-archiving. Users have the option to manually archive individual posts or set them to automatically archive after a certain period.
