YouTube Adds 'New' Labels to Recently Uploaded Shorts in Search Results

YouTube has started adding ‘New’ labels to Shorts that have recently been uploaded. When searching for content, some Shorts may display a small label at the top left with the word 'New' in white text on a black background.
