Spotify is testing "Your Updates," a new personalized notification feed in the app’s sidebar. Users in the test will be able to receive alerts about new followers, playlist collaborations, replies to comments, and other relevant updates.

Facebook will begin testing ads in notifications this spring. Users will see these ads labeled as “sponsored” alongside their regular notifications based on their past engagement with ads and content.

LinkedIn is notifying users about popular posts within their network by sending notifications in the Notifications tab for posts labeled Popular in your network.
