WhatsApp Is Finally Adding Ads, Plus Promoted Channels & Channel Subscriptions

WhatsApp is finally getting ads. Ads will appear on the Status page, where users consume Stories-style content. Businesses will also be able to promote their Channels in the Explore tab and offer paid subscriptions for exclusive updates.
