During its recent Investor Day 2026, Spotify announced that it will launch Memberships this summer.

Memberships are a set of tools that allow eligible creators to offer subscriptions to their fans for new and exclusive content and experiences, such as early access to podcasts and bonus episodes.

Substack raised $100 million in Series C funding, valuing the company at over $1.1 billion. The funds will be used to invest in better tools for creators, expand support for its ecosystem of writers, and “double down” on its app.

Substack has launched Substack Creator Studio, a new video fellowship designed to assist TikTok creators in transitioning their TikTok channels into Substack shows and communities.
