TED Launches TED Shorts, Its Own Short-Form Video Feed

TED / TED Shorts

TED introduced TED Shorts, a new short-form video experience within its mobile app. Users can scroll through vertical clips from TED Talks and other original content, with the ability to like, comment, and share. The feed is powered by Geniun and personalized based on a user’s interests and trending topics.

Why It Matters: TED joins the growing wave of platforms adopting TikTok-like features, following recent moves by LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Tubi, Peacock, and Netflix.

This marks one of TED’s most significant app updates in over a decade. TED Shorts could help surface more of its deep content to casual users, spark interest in full-length talks, and fuel discussion across its community.
