Facebook says links in post captions can hurt reach. Some users are now seeing alerts in their Professional Dashboard warning that links may reduce distribution, and encouraging them to place links in the comments instead.

Threads has been improving how links are ranked on the platform

Threads revealed new link-sharing features. Creators can now add up to five links to their bio, each with a custom title, similar to Instagram. Soon, Threads will begin testing link insights that show how often links in profiles and posts are tapped.

X made a significant change to the format of links. Headlines and preview text are no longer displayed when users share links. Instead, only the header image with the domain overlaid on it is shown.

Following its previous update, which allowed users to share links, Artifact has added another feature for sharing content.

Artifact, a relatively new app created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, the co-founders of Instagram, has introduced a new Links feature.
