TikTok Launches AI Alive to Turn Photos into Animated Videos

TikTok introduced a new creative tool called AI Alive. Available within the TikTok Story Camera, creators can upload a single photo, select from automatically generated prompts or enter their own, and animate their static images into short videos featuring movement, atmospheric effects, and sound.

These videos include AI-generated labels and C2PA metadata for transparency and can appear in the For You and Following feeds, as well as on creators’ profile pages.

Like its competitors, TikTok is expanding its suite of AI-generated and AI-enhanced tools to help users produce content faster and more creatively.
