Threads Adds Deeper Insights with View Sources and Follower Growth Charts

Threads expanded its insights for creators, offering a more detailed view of performance. Creators can now see where their views are coming from—whether it’s Home, Search, their Profile, or outside Threads via Instagram and Facebook.

Engagement metrics are also broken down by type (likes, replies, reposts, quotes) and shown over time, alongside follower growth trends.

Why It Matters: These insights will help creators understand their audience behavior and optimize their content strategy.

Knowing where views originate allows creators to understand how their content is being discovered—whether it's surfacing in the Home feed, drawing people to visit their profile directly, or being found through other Meta properties.

The detailed engagement breakdown also reveals trends in performance over time, which creators can use to correlate their content with specific audience actions.
